Islamic Leadership Institute of America (ILIA) delivered a powerful professional development workshop at Panama City Advanced School (PCAS), located at Bay County Islamic Center in Panama City, Florida. As part of ILIA’s Building Leaders in Your Classroom initiative, the training equipped 25 educators and school leaders with essential communication and student engagement skills through ILIA’s flagship course, Make the Click, Bridge the Gap.
Tailored for teachers of Islamic middle and high school students, the training covered a wide range of relevant topics, including:
Psychology and characteristics of teenagers
Teen culture and modern trends affecting youth
Prophetic models of communication
Foundations of mutual respect and active listening
Strategies for managing adult-teen interactions
Coaching, negotiation, and powerful communication phrases
Addressing mental health challenges and recognizing danger signs
Managing anger, negative behavior, and drug-related issues in the classroom
