Thul Hijjah 8th, 1446 ~ June 4th, 2025 - Bay St Louis, MS.
We are proud to announce a meaningful milestone in the journey of Muslim Connector, our flagship educational publication dedicated to faith, empowerment, and resilience.
Now available at the Hancock County Safety Complex in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, this expansion marks a pivotal moment as our work reaches the Deep South.
The Muslim Connector is a monthly educational publication designed specifically for Muslim youth, incarcerated Muslims and underserved communities, with the mission to:
Illuminate the path of Islamic knowledge rooted in Qur’an, Sunnah, and classical wisdom
Provide Muslim youth with credible authentic Islamic knowledge in easy to understand and absorb format
Share personal reflections, inmate contributions, and real-life transformation stories
Offer practical tools for spiritual growth, self-discipline, and personal recovery
Foster hope and identity among those behind bars
Connect the incarcerated Muslim population to the ummah in America
Each issue serves as a lifeline — bridging hearts and minds to a higher purpose.
Located along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Bay St. Louis in Hancock County represents a region often underserved by Islamic outreach. The arrival of Muslim Connector to this facility reflects our mission to reach the forgotten, the isolated, and the underserved — wherever they may be.
This is not just a delivery — it’s a spiritual investment in the lives of brothers and sisters yearning for growth, guidance, and connection.
We need your help to continue and expand this work. Here's how you can make an impact:
Volunteer Opportunities: Scan & Digitize Letters: Help us electronically capture powerful, handwritten letters we receive from incarcerated readers.
Engage with Chaplains: Communicate with Chaplains at correctional facilities to build bridges, facilitate access, and respond to requests for materials.
Small Jail Facility: $85/month (serves 20-25 Muslims at any time)
Large State Prison: $350/month (serves 100-120 Muslims at any time)
Donations funds printing, shipping, correspondence, and ongoing engagement.
