Are you ready to embark on a journey of personal and professional growth? Islamic Leadership Institute of America (ILIA) is proud to present YPM101—an introductory course in key areas of project management designed specifically for young adults in North Dallas, TX.
What to Expect:
YPM101 covers essential topics such as project definition, project vs. product management, project scope, scheduling, cost analysis, quality assurance, risk assessment, and procurement strategies. But what sets this course apart is its integration of Islamic teachings, with students analyzing the story of Thul Qarnayan to connect key concepts in Islam to modern project management practices.
Duration and Logistics:
This immersive course spans five hours and includes morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a delicious lunch. Each participant will receive a copy of the course textbook "Project Management in 3 Hours" and the Youth Project Management Workbook to supplement their learning.
Learning Objectives:
Through engaging hands-on activities, students will develop crucial life skills, including problem definition, solutioning, time management, project budgeting, and risk assessment. They will also gain insights into developing a clear vision, mission, and purpose for their projects.

YPM101 is open to brothers and sisters aged 14 to 19 who are eager to learn and grow as leaders. Whether you're a high school student, college-bound individual, or young professional, this course offers valuable skills applicable to various aspects of life.
