ILIA's Accounting and Data Analytics Internship.
Howard County, (Monday December 4st, 2023 Jumada Awaal 20th 1445) In a stride towards nurturing young minds, ILIA is delighted to collaborate with Al Huda School for an enriching Accounting and Data Analytics Internship. This transformative 3-week program, conducted in partnership with Dar us Salaam, aims to equip high schoolers from Al Huda School with essential skills and insights, aligning seamlessly with ILIA's commitment to educational excellence.
High schoolers from Al Huda School will embark on a journey of discovery at the offices of Dar us Salaam in College Park, just 0.5 miles away from the school. The sessions will take place after school twice a week, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. ILIA ensures convenience for the students by providing transportation and a light meal, fostering a supportive learning environment.
The internship focuses on practical skills that are crucial in today's digital age. Students will delve into the world of accounting and data analytics, gaining insights into the following key areas:
Spreadsheet Proficiency: Mastering the art of utilizing spreadsheets for data manipulation and organization.
Data Generation: Understanding how data is generated and its significance in decision-making processes.
Chart Development: Learning the art of translating raw data into visually impactful charts for better comprehension.
Report Writing: Acquiring the skills to craft concise and informative management and financial reports.
Participants will actively participate in hands-on activities, including data capture, spreadsheet editing, chart development, and reporting. These activities not only enhance technical proficiency but also cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
